Nutt and Hobbs aiming for Railton at Brands Hatch

The Ducati TriOptions 848 Challenge returns to Brands Hatch for the fourth round of the season and Boast Plumbing/Art of Racing's Jonathan Railton heads the pack from Marty Nutt and Dennis Hobbs who have been chasing him down ahead of this weekend's event.

Railton has won five of the six races this season but at Snetterton Nutt claimed his first victory of his campaign in Norfolk, closing the gap and proving that Railton can't rest on his laurels just yet as the season reaches the halfway stage after the two races in Kent.

Dennis Hobbs has been a consistent podium finisher since making his return at Donington Park, but was forced off the podium at Snetterton in race two as Robbie Brown deputised for the injured Mike 'Spike' Edwards who is ready to get back on track this weekend.

Leon Morris also had his best performance of the season last time out at Snetterton and it is only a matter of time before the Stockbridge Racing rider scores his first podium of the 2013 Challenge and he is only four points ahead of Darren Fry and Daniel Fowler.

The chasing pack of Dean Brown, Byron Beckett and Ed Smith will all be keen to close on the top five and Ben Field will be keen to bounce back from his crash at Snetterton and notch up a strong points-scoring performance.

Ducati TriOptions 848 Challenge standings:

1. Jonathan Railton (Boast Plumbing/Art of Racing) 145
2. Marty Nutt (Ducati Coventry/JHP) 117
3. Dennis Hobbs (Hobbs Racing) 63
4. Leon Morris (Stockbridge Racing) 57
5. Darren Fry (JHP/ Ducati Coventry) 53
