Morris leads Ducati charge to Brands Hatch

Leon Morris heads the standings as the Ducati TriOptions Cup returns to Brands Hatch this weekend (18/19/29 July), with the Stockbridge rider the only contender to have scored a podium finish in each of the six races so far this season.

Morris scored a pair of second places at Knockhill though as his Carl Cox Motorsport team-mate Dennis Hobbs celebrated his first double win of the season at his home round of Knockhill. He now trails Morris by 23 points ahead of the two races this weekend in Kent.

2013 Champion Marty Nutt holds third in the overall standings after he scored his first podium finishes of the season with a pair of third places at Knockhill for the Ducati Coventry/JHP Racing team, but he only holds a slender nine point lead over Rob Guiver. Hyside Motorcycle's Guiver was victorious at the opening round of the season on the Indy circuit, but narrowly missed out on a podium at Knockhill.
